We’re delighted to share some lovely news: Guildford Hearing Services has recently opened its doors at 12 Castle Street. As part of The Hearing Services Group, our new independent hearing clinic brings hearing care and support to the Guildford community.
Opening day was a great success. We’ve been busy putting the final touches to the clinic and responding to your kind enquiries, but we didn’t want the occasion to pass without saying a heartfelt thank you.
Most of all, thank you to everyone from the local community who stopped by, chatted with us, shared a smile and made us feel so welcome. It was fantastic to meet so many of you. We’re so pleased to be starting this new chapter in Guildford.
A warm welcome on Castle Street
Our opening day brought a few memorable sights to Castle Street. A bagpiper and a giant ear mascot added a playful touch to the celebrations, and we were honoured to welcome the Mayor, who came along to officially open the clinic and cut the ribbon.
We’re grateful to the Mayor for taking the time to mark the occasion, and to everyone else who helped make the day special. The warmth of the welcome from the community means a great deal to us, and we look forward to getting to know more of our neighbours as we settle in.

Hearing assessments and hearing tests in Guildford
If you’re finding it harder to follow conversations, asking people to repeat themselves or struggling to hear clearly in busy places, a hearing assessment can help you understand what’s happening.
A hearing assessment provides an opportunity to discuss your concerns and explore your hearing. If hearing aids may help, recommendations can take account of your hearing results, daily life and personal preferences. There’s no single solution that suits everyone, so individual advice matters.
If you’ve been searching for a hearing test in Guildford, our new clinic is ready to welcome you. Find out more about our hearing care and hearing aids.
Hearing aids, with independent advice
Choosing hearing aids can feel like a big decision. As an independently owned hearing services provider, we’re not tied to one hearing aid manufacturer. That means we can consider options across manufacturers and help you find a solution that suits your hearing needs and lifestyle.
Depending on your needs, we can discuss newer hearing aid models such as Widex Allure AI, Oticon Reveal, Starkey Omega, Signia and ReSound Sensia. The right choice is personal; a conversation and assessment can help make the options easier to understand.
We also provide Real Ear Measurement (REM) across all our clinics. REM measures the sound produced by a hearing aid in your ear canal, helping inform the fitting process.
With over 30 years of industry experience behind The Hearing Services Group, we aim to make every visit personal and supportive. We treat every client like family and take the time to understand what matters to you.
Ear wax removal and tinnitus support
Ear wax build-up can sometimes leave your ears feeling blocked or affect your hearing. Our Guildford clinic is now taking bookings for ear wax removal. If you’re experiencing discomfort or changes in hearing, speak with us about arranging an appointment and the options available.
We’re also taking bookings for tinnitus support. Tinnitus can sound like ringing, buzzing, humming or another noise that seems to come from inside the ears or head. It affects people in different ways. If it’s bothering you, you don’t have to work out what to do next on your own. We can talk through your concerns and discuss suitable support.
